Welcome to the October Newsletter!
As many of you, as WILDFIT graduates, know the mind is remarkable. When we provide it with proper nutrition and gentle movement, we can witness a complete health transformation in as little as six weeks. This past Saturday, I watched Dr. Joe Dispenza’s new documentary
“Source, It’s Within You” and I noticed many of the same principles Eric shares are prevalent in this film on meditation. Dr. Joe Dispenza, an authority on the mind-body connection, hosts meditation retreats to bring his philosophy to others.
The documentary begins by highlighting the state of the modern Western world, where many people experience trauma and live mundane, repetitive lives. Dr. Dispenza illustrates this by explaining how 90% of the thoughts we think today are the same as those we thought
yesterday. These repeated thoughts lead to the same choices, the same experiences and ultimately the same feelings and emotions. This mental cycle keeps people in the same gene expression and the same reality because their thoughts, choices, and actions remain unchanged.
Dr Dispenza believes that by teaching people to think differently, and make new choices, they can experience new realities. Different thoughts lead to different actions, which create new experiences and ultimately transform a person’s life. This idea forms the foundation of his
retreats, and while the documentary doesn’t deeply explore the science, it focuses on measuring the changes participants undergo during the seven-day transformation.
At the beginning of the retreat, participants undergobloodwork and brain mapping. Although the documentary is light on specific statistics, the researchers frequently mention the dramatic changes they observe in just seven days. One notable finding is that the plasma of advanced
meditators eradicated cancer and Alzheimer’s cells in a petri dish. While these outcomes will be published in due time, the evidence presented in the documentary supports the profound impact of neuroplasticity and epigenetics in healing the body – concepts many of you may recognize from my previous newsletters.
Dr. Dispenza emphasizes that everything we need to transform our lives is already within us. The source is within, and we have the power to create lasting change. This message is beautifully illustrated by several miraculous examples in the documentary:
Shay, a pharmaceutical rep who had a near- death experience, was told by doctors she would have to have her thyroid removed.
Using Dr. Dispenza’s teachings, she regrew her thyroid, astonishing the medical community.
Chelsea, born with cystic fibrosis, arrived at the retreat in a wheelchair, relying on oxygen. By the end of the seven days, she was
walking and breathing unassisted.
Charles, diagnosed with bone marrow cancer with 40% of his cells affected, tested completely free of cancer after attending the
retreat. As Dr. Joe Dispenza explains “If you cannot believe in yourself, you cannot believe in a possibility. And if you cannot believe
in a possibility, it doesn’t exist to you.”
In WILDFIT, we emphasize mindfulness about the food we consume. Dr Joe Dispenza’s documentary reminds us that being mindful of our thoughts is just as critical. Both require intention and awareness and together, they form a powerful tool for transformation. I highly recommend watching the documentary – it’s truly life- changing. Since the weekend, I’ve been practicing a few of Dr. Dispenza’s meditations that I found online, and I’m already noticing shifts.
Remember, whether it’s the food you eat or the thoughts you think, every choice you make has the power to transform your life. The key to unlocking the transformation? It’s within you.

Thank you for reading. With warmest wishes, Your WILDFIT coach.
